Proclama del IX Encuentro Latinoamericano y Caribeño de CEBs

 
En el contexto del 50 aniversario del inicio del Concilio Vaticano II, de los 44 años de la 2ª conferencia Episcopal latinoamericana de Medellín, desde San Pedro Sula, Honduras, los 180 participantes en el IX Encuentro Latinoamericano y Caribeño de las Comunidades Eclesiales de Base, enviamos un saludo fraterno a las hermanas y hermanos de los 17 países de América Latina y del Caribe, de EEUU y Filipinas, representados en este Encuentro.
 
Con gran preocupación nos hemos dado cuenta que en nuestros países continúa dominando el sistema neoliberal autoritario que expande la criminalidad, la desigualdad económica y social; destruyendo la vida de millones de personas y la creación. Que son países productores y consumidores de droga, en los que el crimen organizado crea inseguridad creciente y ha llegado a controlar territorios. Viven el problema de la migración. Hay un deterioro creciente del medio ambiente, por la explotación irracional de los recursos naturales. Sin embargo, los movimientos sociales emergentes y en algunos lugares, la misma Sociedad civil están presionando para que esta situación cambie y crean propuestas alternativas.
 
Ante esta realidad de muerte, nos anima la esperanza, en una sociedad que defienda y promueva la vida digna y que ya se hace realidad en hechos pequeños o grandes articulados. Jesús es el Agua que se convierte en nuestro interior en un manantial de Agua viva (Cf. Jn 4, 14). Las Comunidades Eclesiales de Base son la fuente de la cual brota el Agua viva. Ellas como el Agua, dan vida, son fuente de energía para enfrentar las dificultades que se presentan en el cumplimiento de la tarea de contribuir para que el Reino de Dios acontezca ya desde este mundo, ellas, como el agua, son discretas, no se hacen notar, pero están presente, acumulan fuerza y ellas purifican.
 
Ellas tienen su raíz en Jesús, el Evangelio de la vida. Como El, viven y sienten el dolor de los empobrecidos; como él anuncian la buena nueva a los pobres, la liberación a los oprimidos, dan luz a los ciegos, y anuncian el año de Gracia del Señor (Cf. Lc 4, 18-19). Como él, las Cebs. sanan a los enfermos, hacen caminar a los paralíticos, hacen oír el clamor de los pobres, resucitan a los que tienen muerta la esperanza (Cf. Mt.9,35-36)
 
Ellas unen la fe con la vida, porque son lugar de encuentro con Dios y con los hermanos y hermanas, de encuentro con el perdón de Dios y donde se comparte el Pan de la Palabra, de la Eucaristía y el pan que nos hermana; en ellas se vive y profundiza la espiritualidad de Jesús y su propuesta del su Reino y la mística. Buscan incidir en la economía del mercado total con la gratuidad, en la exclusión con la proximidad y en la corrupción con la ética de la honestidad y del servicio.
 
Ellas son expresión del proyecto comunitario de Jesús, que se esfuerzan por vivir su identidad de Iglesia, ahí donde el Pueblo se juega la vida. Son Comunidades ecológicas, que por ser comunidad y por no tener hambre de Oro, sino de Pan, se esfuerzan por convertir este modelo de desarrollo basado en el hambre de oro, de explotación de la persona humana y de la naturaleza, en un modelo fundado en la dignidad de la persona y en el amor.
 
El relanzamiento que iniciamos en el VIII Encuentro en Santa Cruz de la Sierra, en Bolivia, ha tenido resultados positivos en la formación, en la articulación, en la reanimación de las Cebs., que se habían perdido o estaban en las catacumbas y en la apertura y participación en luchas y movimientos sociales. Vemos conveniente para los próximos cuatro años, el fortalecimiento y la consolidación de estos logros.
 
La presencia y participación de los jóvenes en este IX Encuentro ha sido muy significativa y esperanzadora, y son una interpelación a nuestro caminar. De igual forma, la participación de calidad y más propositiva de la mujer ha sido notable. Nuestra espiritualidad se enriqueció con los momentos de oración enraizada en la pluriculturalidad de nuestros pueblos, que nos coloca ate el desafío de una propuesta evangelizadora intercultural.
 
Reasumimos en este Encuentro el Relanzamiento de las Cebs. en una nueva etapa, y asumimos como compromisos, en relación con la ecología la articulación con el bien vivir, la migración, el fortalecimiento de las Cebs. y la promoción de los jóvenes.
 
Queremos terminar esta proclama rogando al Padre-Madre de todos y todas, a Jesús, el fundamento de nuestras Iglesias, y al Espíritu, nuestra fortaleza:
 
Padre, no queremos que el viento
sople más fuerte en nuestras casas y
apague la vela de la esperanza
en un futuro cada vez más incierto;
queremos el fuego fuerte de tu Espíritu, que siempre venza.
No queremos seguir trabajando de sol a sol,
para que el amo se quede con nuestro sudor,
con nuestra comida, con nuestro dinero, con nuestro esfuerzo.
Queremos dignidad para luchar por lo nuestro.
Seguiremos clamando que Tú ves
el sufrimiento de tus hijos e hijas y que has bajado para liberarlos.
Tu cuerpo, nuestro cuerpo, Señor Jesús,
ha de tener los ojos profundos, imperturbables,
serenos, acusadores y consoladores de Oscar Romero.
Tu cuerpo, nuestro cuerpo,
ha de ser radicalmente fiel como Francisco de Asís.
Tu cuerpo nuestro cuerpo,
pretende ser incansable y fuerte,
como lo fue fray Bartolomé de Las Casas.
Tu cuerpo, nuestro cuerpo
ha de ser cercano como lo fue con los indígenas,
